Dara Osoego, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner and the co-founder of Innovative Medical Clinic in Jefferson City, Missouri. Dara has extensive experience in emergency medicine, urgent and critical care, cardiology, and neurology.

While she was studying to become a registered nurse, Dara worked as a patient care technician. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Missouri, she worked as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit (ICU). Though challenging, Dara was grateful for the experience as it taught her several skills, including better ways to enhance team-based and patient-centered care.

Dara found her passion in critical care and became a travel nurse, delivering care to underserved communities. In 2008, she provided her expertise while serving on a medical mission trip in Pisco, Peru, offering relief to those who had been affected by tsunami and earthquake.

After dedicating her life to critical care for 11 years, she went on to obtain her family nurse practitioner degree at Walden University and graduated in 2016. Since then, Dara has practiced nursing in clinical and educational settings. Teaching at Lincoln University and Stephens College, she is passionate about patient care and helping the future generations thrive.
